Back in the 2004 time period, I worked for a company that was spending about $5K a month to advertise 11 different products via Adwords, and I was the lucky person who had to take over managing the campaigns. That was about 12 years ago when the AdWords system was much "simpler." Hardly. It was an absolute nightmare, and I've avoided Adwords in my career ever since. But not only is Adwords not going anywhere, it has become much more influential in digital marketing, which is exactly why people like ME need to read books like THIS ONE.Both the real-world ad examples and the AdWords screenshots in this book are super-helpful. Also, who knew that "phone call conversions" were a possibility with AdWords?! This book has provided a lot of food-for-thought not just in terms of how to manage campaigns, but how to approach them in general - from a strategy perspective. While this can be a quick weekend read, it should also serve as a good long term reference to come back to when needed.

What I like about this book is that within the first few pages you can figure out if AdWords is suitable for your business, As it turned out when I did the test I was told to proceed with caution and that AdWords may not be the ideal way of advertising for my business.Now that is a book I really like! It saved me a lot of reading that may not be applicable to my business. Just the same I'll continue reading because there are lots of explanations, including freebies, along the way which help me understand AdWords better. From what I can read, brilliant advice so far.

This is a short book that I read completely in about 1.5 hours. It was very inexpensive.I got a number of good ideas in that brief amount of time, about the same number and value as a much longer book.So, here is a book with several good ideas which does not squander time or money. What is not to like?Enthusiastically recommended.

I don't write a lot of reviews but this is a book I feel that needs one. I've been meaning to brush myself up on Adwords for awhile now, because as a small business owner, I never really realized how much money I wasted in the past with different avenues of advertising, especially within Google. I came upon this book and thought, meh, why not. 5 bucks for a paperback or $1 for the Kindle version. I'm an electronic everything guy so I opted for the Kindle version and within 5-10 pages I was already floored. After reading it front to back I put to use a lot of the practices described and it's already led me to not only gain more leads, but helped me to not overpay in the process. Any business owner looking to learn or advance in Adwords should read this...especially for the price tag. Definitely recommended!

Good short read.Probably better if you are just getting into adwords, but I expect most people would learn a couple of tricks they may not know.

This is worth buying. I can almost guarantee that you'll take at least one piece of useful information from it. I learned about "negative keywords", which is a huge revelation for my campaign.

Very insightful. Quick, easy read.

I bought it as soon as it came out and read it in one sitting. Now I’m pissed that I have to wait for the next book to come out. I’ve gone back and re-read the other books a few times and even listen to the first 8 books on Audible. I could read these books on Kindle Unlimited, but decided I liked them enough to actually buy each of them to support the author. I know these books aren’t for everyone since they involve were-creatures, magic users and explicit descriptions of sex, but I find I like them and really look forward to the next one.

This was probably the best book in the Valens Legacy series thus far so I thought I’d take a moment to explore not only what I liked about this book, but the series as a whole up to this point. This book stops screwing around and goes heavy on the action, much of which is well done. (As a side note, there was also less of the pointless sex—pointless because it didn’t advance the plot or develop the characters.) The demons are now coming through the gates, and Sean and his lycanthrope army have to fight them. These are pretty good scenes as are the interludes between them in which tactics, strategy and logistics are discussed. There is a tiny amount of politics also which enhances the story. Typically, Sean and his people do manage to show an amazing amount of stupidity in not pursuing as their number one priority the mystery surrounding why a certain type of old ammunition injures demons when modern ammunition does not (I guess they’d rather fight man-to-man with swords than mow the enemy down with helicopter-mounted machine guns) but in the scheme of things, this was a small complaint.Stryvant also sets up a demon subplot that worked out just the way I thought it would without actually getting there by the means I foresaw. That was also nicely done. The ending has me quite anxious for the next book, which hasn’t happened in a while, and that was the deciding factor in lifting this book to a four star rating.As to the series as a whole, I feel that this second arc has not been as strong as the first arc but has still been enjoyable. I think the primary weakness in recent books comes from the extreme ease with which Sean has solved most of the problems. Note that this latest book presented a challenge he could not easily resolve and it greatly enhanced my enjoyment. My biggest continuing complaint with the series is that twelve books in, becoming a lycanthrope is still like putting on a suit of clothes. Occasionally reference is made to this lycanthrope type being stronger or faster, but I never “feel’ the lycanthropy. Lycanthropes even talk to their beasts once in a while, but it all seems way too friendly and rational to me. In my opinion, the best lycanthrope stories have the beast released in a painful transformation that overwhelms the human’s rational mind and makes them a monster. Strong willed humans learn to control the beast to some extent, but they still have to fight against the beasts’ hungers and passions. Lycanthropy is a curse! But not in the Vallen Legacy. There it’s more like a great new jacket you found at the store that you can put on or take off at will with no downside whatsoever. I’d very much like a result of this demon war to be that the beasts inside the lycanthropes begin to be break free making all of these characters far more interesting.

I know humans can't fight but has anyone tested a Abrams Tank gun on these things yet? Plus I wonder try testing the Air Force bombs as check everything. Also I was thinking checking old World War 1 and 2 ammo or check with gun experts as have a feeling private gun makers who make there own ammo might solve that ammo to make guns or what of shot guns? Well also I think a full call up of all Were in service to report as need more troops when big show starts. At least we humans can provide support to the war effort. Still something off I feel like they toying with the heroes as draw our forces elsewhere as for when the main gate set up a wall or castle walls plus archers maybe catapults still would love to see a Dark Elf Army show up.

Demons are here, and they're in ever increasing numbers! Sean and friends find themselves fighting more and more demons as gates open at different locations and stay open longer with more demons pouring through. Washington politicians are playing their same games, skepticism and wilfully stupidity mixed with a healthy dose of CYA. The military are demanding share of the war even though mundane are susceptible to the demons mind control. Desperate times call for desperate measures, and if Sean's plan works it will give them some breathing room,but his wives will kill him, if it doesn't work the demons will kill him. Decisions decisions.

This starts a new chapter in this series as we turn from fighting *spoiler if you haven't read the first 11 books in the series why are you starting here? Are you one of those people who reads the last chapter first so you don't have to be kept in suspense? * mages and instead a demonic invasion begins. Shawn can't keep himself from the front lines and soon finds himself facing overwhelming odds while the government drags its feet on getting involved. Another great story that will leave you wanting more.

As usual I just binge read the entire book immediately after buying it.please don't stop writing this series anytime soo. I understand wanting to try different styles that you have many more stories to share and I'll definitely tag along for the ride but I have become very invested in these people and there world so I really hope that you'll continue to share more stories of them. I also really like Michael Scott-Earle but haven't been able to find any of his novels on Amazon.

Enjoyed last installment. Previous two books felt like story was running out of steam. Now I treat them as a set up for main action. Shawn and his crew are back and better than ever. Looking forward to next book. Hoping to get it sooner than later. This story was my introduction to the world of lycans, mages, dwarves and mundanes and what a amazing world it is.To Jan: Get well soon, can't have you hurt and unable to deliver your fine stories.Welcome to Texas. Remember, this is not a State, it is a State of Mind.Quick suggestion: if demons burn so well, can we bring good old napalm. After all "It smells like freedom."I would not recommend this series to my wife's book club, but it is a good way to have my nephews put down game controller and read something in the dorm room.
