Suffering with psoriasis and psoriatic arthritis, I began the Keystone approach with the approval of my rheumatologist. I must admit I feel much better. It has been 7 months and I feel that I am in remission. It is a difficult diet to maintain but the difference in pain and discomfort makes it worth it. I have no plans to change from this program. Give it a shot, you might be pleasantly surprised like I have been.

I can't say enough about how well written and informative this book is. I bought it on Kindle but it's one I'm also going to order in hard copy because I want it as a reference. My son was diagnosed with Ankylosing Spondylitis a few months ago and I think I've read at least 6 books on the disease. Most of them either forecast doom and gloom for victims of the disease or they try and assign one causal element when there are many. This books compiles the latest research on healing for autoimmune disease with a particular emphasis on Rheumatoid arthritis, Crohn's and Ankylosing Spondylitis so it was particularly relevant to our needs. The diet outlined in the book is the same as my son's Functional Medicine doctor prescribed as are the probiotics. I was so interested to read the pros and cons of different medicines and probiotics and to also learn what is going on at the cellular and organ levels in these diseases. The book helped us immensely and I can't thank Rebecca Fett enough.

The concepts of this book are novel, it does not repeat what is usually seen in diet books. It breaks the myths of Paleolithic, ketogenic diets, autoimmune protocols, The Wahls Protocol, GAPS, SCD, etc., with a lot of scientific background and the latest works based on clinical trials. I must say that it's the most integrative book on diets that I've read, the best in its class.Thank you very much for sharing your work.

I highly recommend this book! I was hesitant to read yet another "diet" book, but as the title indicates, it really is an approach. It's a comprehensive guide to healing a "leaky gut." I selected this book to learn how I can gain more control over psoriatic arthritis; however, I recommend it for anyone struggling with any autoimmune disease or allergies, asthma, or irritable bowel. Fett's writing is reader-friendly---straight forward, attainable. I am sharing this book with friends and family!

Wow! As someone who's struggled with arthritis and lupus/fibromyalgia-like symptoms since I was six years old, I've done my fair share of searching for answers and clues on ways to naturally reverse the condition, yet I've never even heard most of the research findings cited in this book- what an eye opener! For me, it really points out the areas where I've gone wrong, and answers a lot of questions like why I still get flareups despite eliminating all processed foods over the years. I feel like now I have a more solid grasp of what to look out for, and changes I can start making right away to hopefully make a significant difference!In the book, the author covers a lot of potential triggers including food sensitivities, intolerances, and allergies, as well as OTC drugs and more, that can all have a profound impact on arthritis and pain symptoms. However, I understand the food choices were based on the best ways to remediate symptoms, and I've still come away with a lot of great ideas on ways to improve my diet.Bottom line, this is a fantastic book that I will be revisiting over and over again and I'm very grateful to the author for sharing this vast wealth of information that she has learned over the years! I love the scientific research and explanations in the book. Take the time to read it -pace yourself. I was very motivated to learn and make changes to see improvement, that I overwhelmed myself with all the information. I had to go back and reread parts to really let my brain process and understand what I was reading. The diet suggestions have made a big difference and we haven't even stuck to it 100%. We follow the bigger guidelines, it's one of my favorite parts of the book. It is called an APPROACH for a reason. It is a way to look at your foods and why certain foods are better than others. It isn't a "eat this, not that" book (although there is some this is better than that - with explanations why!). It is a "research shows this for most people, here's how to figure out what your body needs, etc".
